Curriculum:
Day 1
We start from the very beginning with a brief introduction to the benefits of a yoga practice, explore the practice space and the use of props, synchronizing breath to movement, comfortable seated positions, and the poses of a sun salutation.

Day 2
Next we go through the basics of ‘flow’, building on Day 1 sun salutations and connecting breath to movements. Today we look in depth at the most common standing and seated poses, combining them at the end of class into a gentle flow sequence. We reflect on one aspect from yoga philosophy to set an overall theme for the class.

Then we learn some breathing techniques and how you can use them to energize or to relax. We look in depth at more common standing and seated poses, combining them at the end of class into a gentle flow sequence. We reflect on one aspect from Yoga philosophy to set an overall theme for the class.
