Birds and their ability to fly were infused with spiritual meaning in ancient times. In Hindu mythology, birds are associated with many gods and goddesses and are often used as symbols of different qualities and virtues, such as freedom, wisdom, courage, beauty, and devotion. It’s not surprising that many yoga poses were inspired by birds.

Spread your wings, awaken your spirit, and explore the mythology of birds in this advanced course that honors the season of renewal and transformation. Each class will contain detailed guidance which will give you the mechanics and alignment to fly and balance in new ways. Expect dynamic vinyasa yoga sequencing and guided relaxation and meditation.

Awaken to the sounds of spring with a sense of playfulness in this bird inspired course!

NOTE: The course is designed to build on each week, however it is okay to attend only one class. Just know we will not cover every pose each week. We will practice Pincha Mayurasana each week, but skills and techniques will be built upon each week.
